Vicki Lynn Crabaugh

Vicki Lynn Crabaugh, 71, of Crestline, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2021 after a brief illness.

Vicki was born March 17, 1950 to the late Henry and Shirley (Liles) Suttles in Cawood, Kentucky. The Suttles family moved to Bucyrus in 1954. She graduated from Wynford High School in 1968. After graduation, Vicki met the love of her life, Gene Crabaugh. The two were married on February 5, 1972 and spent 49 adventurous – loving years together. Vicki had worked in various occupations at The Timken Company and retired as a cone inspector in 2013. She was also an active member of the Bucyrus Church of the Nazarene.

Vicki was a family-oriented woman who loved spending time with her family. Vicki dearly loved her only granddaughter Atley Grace and enjoyed cheering her on at her softball games. The family also loved and looked forward to the challenge of primitive camping. Gene, Vicki, and the kids would often camp in wooded areas without electricity or other modern comforts. Although Vicki did not have a favorite camping location, she had a great time at every place they stayed. When she wasn’t camping with family or at softball games, she loved spending time with Gene going for a drive or just enjoying their treasured quiet evenings at home together.

Vicki is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gene Crabaugh; children, Jarrod Crabaugh and Jenna Crabaugh; granddaughter, Atley Crabaugh; and brother, Richard Suttles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Jerry Suttles.

Private services were held with interment in Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for memorial donations to be made payable to the donor’s choice of charity and given through Wise Funeral Service at 129 W. Warren St., Bucyrus, Ohio 44820. Photos and memories can be shared on Vicki’s tribute wall.
