Toma M. Harigle

Toma M. Harigle, 55, died Monday, May 1, 2017 in the Galion Community Hospital E.R. after months of failing health.



She was born April 17, 1962 to the late Arlene (Rothhaar) Sheehan and Tom Sheehan who survives. She grew up in Bucyrus and graduated from Col. Crawford High School in 1980. Toma married Gary Harigle on May 4, 1985 and he survives along with their two sons, Dustin Harigle (Amanda McCoy) and Tyler Harigle and three grandchildren, Corbin Harigle, Ladyfaye McCoy, and Mason Harigle. In addition to her mother, Toma was preceded in death by her brother, Greg Sheehan and two half-brothers, Gene and Mike Kissling.



Toma lived for her family and friends. Nothing made her happier than hosting and attending gatherings with those she loved whether it was a holiday, birthday or any excuse to get together. She remembered every important date and loved to socialize with Facebook, phone calls, and text messages. She had organized years of photos and memories in albums and scrapbooks and also enjoyed quilting and crocheting when she was healthier. In addition to being a loving homemaker, she had worked as a floral arranger and dog groomer. She loved animals of all types and had many reptiles, birds, cats, and dogs over the years.



Toma’s family will host a memorial service on Sunday, May 7 at 1:00 pm in the VFW Post 1078 Annex, 330 E Mansfield St, Bucyrus. She will be laid to rest privately in Brokensword Cemetery.



Donations payable to AmVets Post 27 (for food drives) or the Humane Society Serving Crawford County can be given at Wise Funeral Service, 129 W Warren St, Bucyrus. Memories and photos can be shared on her Tribute Wall.
