Todd H. Kennedy

Todd H. Kennedy, 63, died Monday, December 23, 2024 at Marion General Hospital from Kidney Cancer.

He was born in Bucyrus on August 1, 1961 to the late Joseph G. and Pat (Heath) Kennedy. Todd grew up in Chatfield and went to Buckeye Central High School where he played football, wrestled, and graduated in 1979. He also studied diesel mechanics at Pioneer JVS. Todd was a supervisor at Mennell Milling where he worked for 19 years. He was a 4-H Advisor and active member of Liberty Twp. VFD.

At home, Todd tinkered around and watched westerns or M*A*S*H. He enjoyed the bond he had at the Fire Department and helping with their festival each summer. He also loved spoiling and hanging out with his niece and nephews and their families.

Todd is survived by siblings, Joe (Connie) Kennedy and Dennise (Mike) Holtzapfel; brother-in-law, Garry Cole; niece and nephews, Shelli (Curtis) Ashley, Chad Cole, Josh (Dawn) Kennedy, Brian (Anna) Holtzapfel, and Andy (Stephanie) Holtzapfel; 12 great nieces and nephews; and extended family.

In addition to his parents, Todd was preceded in death by siblings, Steve Kennedy, Michael Kennedy, and Vicki Cole.

Todd’s family will gather for a private interment in Brokensword Cemetery.
