Thomas J. Mollencopf

Thomas Joseph Mollencopf, 70, of Nevada, died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at his home.



He was born on February 12, 1951 in Bucyrus to the late Ferris H. and Mary Ellen (Hartwell) Mollencopf. Tom was a 1970 graduate of Col. Crawford High School and worked many years at Swan Rubber until his retirement. On November 20, 1998, Tom married Gail L. Crabbe and she survives.



Tom was considered quite the handyman as he was always tinkering with and fixing things around their home. He had a great sense of humor and always had a joke to share with others. He loved time spent with Gail and whether he was helping her run her restaurant, Gail’s Café or just relaxing to conversation, they shared many good memories over the years.



In addition to Gail, his wife of 22 years, Tom is survived by grandchildren, Richard Malicoate, Izaak Gore, Cheyenne Malicoate and Ryan Malicoate. He was preceded in death daughter, Chelsie Rae Mollencopf stepson, Sheldon Gore; and sister, Elaine Mollencopf.



No public service will be held for Tom and his cremated body will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery. Donations can be made payable to Wise Funeral Service to help offset any expenses. Memories are encouraged to be shared on his tribute wall at www.wisefuneral.com.
