Stephenie Eastmann

Stephenie S. Eastmann, 66, of Bowling Green, Ohio died naturally, yet unexpectedly, at her residence Sunday morning, Sept. 16, 2012.

She was born February 7, 1946 in Richmond, Ind. to George Spraggins and the late Eloise Spraggins. After graduating from Bucyrus High School in 1964, Stephenie attended Riverside School of Nursing and The Ohio State University. She settled in Grand Rapids, Ohio where she worked as a LPN at the Grand Rapids Care Center.

Stephenie is survived by her father, George; twin sons, Joshua and Jonathan Eastmann; three grandchildren; and sister, Alison (Jerry) Allonas.

Stephenie will be remembered for her love of animals, especially horses, dogs and raccoons. She loved caring for others through nursing, cooking for her family and was a very creative artist and crafter. She was a member of St. Patrick Parish in Grand Rapids and gave back to her community with activities in the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce.

After a private viewing, Stephenie's family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21 at Wise Funeral Service. Her memorial service will begin at 4 p.m. and she will be buried next to her mother in Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial donations may be given to Wise Funeral Service to assist with the unexpected expenses.
