Sharon Elaine Kraft, 75, entered Heaven on June 28, 2022 following her passing at Bucyrus Community Hospital.
She was born March 9, 1947 in Bucyrus to the late Charles T. and Dorothy N. (Curts) Reber and graduated from Bucyrus High School. On March 1, 1969, she married John H. Kraft and he survives. Sharon worked at Timken and retired following 40 years as a cone inspector.
Sharon was a very giving person who cherished time spent with family. From a young age, she learned the importance of supporting others and was very helpful and close with her mom. She loved hosting family gatherings where she’d cook more food than anyone could possibly eat, and she was always up for their weekly euchre night with extended family. Sharon had a creative side to her. She always decorated their home for the holidays, enjoyed planting flowers and created many breath-taking and beautiful cakes for family and friends over the years. Sharon had a big heart for animals and has loved many pets over the years. For relaxation, Sharon liked to lay poolside with family at their pool.
She enjoyed worshipping God at Victory In Truth Ministries, where she was always available to help prepare a meal.
Sharon will be greatly missed by John, her husband of 53 years; children, Tammi (Bo) Hamilton and JP (Angi) Kraft; grandchildren, Rian Hamilton and Karrie Kraft; brother, Donald (Sue) Reber; nephews, Brian (Tanya) Reber and Nick Reber; great nephew, Brennen Reber as well as close cousins, Larry Miller, Karen (Jeff) Pryor and Lisa VanHorn.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Lou Reber and cousin, Alice Miller.
Her family will receive friends from 3-5:55 pm Friday, July 1 at Wise Funeral Service where her funeral will be held that evening at 6:00 pm with Pastor JC Church officiating. Following cremation, she will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery and friends are invited to join family for her brief committal service at the cemetery beginning at 3:00 pm Friday, July 8.
If desired, donations can be made payable to the Humane Society for Crawford County and will be accepted through the funeral home. Online memories and expressions of sympathy are encouraged to be shared on her tribute wall.
