Ruby L. Gray

Ruby L. Gray, 81, 0f Bucyrus, died Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Heartland Nursing Home. Mrs. Gray was born February 12, 1929 in Lebanon, Virginia to the late William Beuford and Mary Rachel (Gilbert) Holland. She was married to James Edward Gray, Sr. on July 21, 1951. He preceded her in death in 1994. She is survived by a daughter Karen (Scott) Morris of Bucyrus; son James, Jr. (Vicki) Gray; grandchildren Shad Rahm and Shawn Rahm of Bucyrus, Andrew Gray of Lakewood and Mallory Gray of Upper Arlington; great grandchildren Tyson and Takiyah Wright and Chase and Jacob Rahm; brother Howard Holland of Lynchburg, VA; sister Lucille Bland of Richmond, VA. In addition to her parents and husband James of 43 years, she was preceded in death by a son Robert Allen Gray and sisters Helen Wilson and Stella Holland. She was a retiree of The Timken Company, a member of the Moose and AMVETS, and avid mixed couples bowler at Suburban lanes for many years with her husband. She had a love of crafting, flower gardening, crocheting, making macramé and ceramics as well as singing and listening to music. Friends may call Sunday, October 17, 2010 from 1-4 PM at Wise Funeral Service where a funeral will be held Monday at 10:30 AM with Reverend Ann Hunter officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society through the funeral home.
