Roberta Kate “Robin” Jolly died at her residence in Perrysburg, Ohio on September 30, 2015 at the age of 60.
She was born June 1, 1955 in Bucyrus, Ohio to the late C. David Jolly and Mary Lou Blicke Jolly Hastings. She graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1974, being a member of the Honor Society. She was a member of the Hannah Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a former member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bucyrus where she was baptized.
Robin continued her education and ambition to be a teacher at Bowling Green State University, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Education. Following graduation, she became a teacher in the Perrysburg area where she was very active in the Wood County Humane Society and enjoyed the company of her pets.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Mary Lou and Scott Hastings; sister, Christine Winans of Canal Winchester and her children: stepson, Tracy (Tonya) McAdams and daughters, Sophi and Emma of Bucyrus; daughter, Allison (Michael) Baughman and sons, Jonathan and James of Canal Winchester; daughter, Lauren (Ronnie) Woodrow and daughters Julia and Olivia Cook of Canal Winchester and Susan McAdams and sons, Aaron and Brandan of Canal Winchester; sister, Susan (Richard) Teynor of Pickerington, Ohio and her two children, Emily (Matt) Kover and daughter, Madelyn and Patricia Teynor; sister, Sarah Jolly of Bucyrus and her children, Brooke (Jared) Young and children, Megan and Cooper of Bucyrus; Blair (Jeremy) Halm of Bucyrus and Laura (Kyle) Keim and son, Hunter of Chillicothe, Ohio.
She is also survived by stepsisters, Leesa Hastings and Darla Hastings; aunts, Judy B. Rhode, Linda Blicke and Pat Blicke as well as many beloved cousins.
In addition to her father, Robin was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Evalyn Q. Blicke and Juilliard H. Blicke; paternal grandparents, Alice R. Jolly and Carl W. Jolly.; and her uncle, William J. Blicke.
Private services are being held with burial in the Jolly Family Plot of Oakwood Cemetery in Bucyrus.
