Robert G. Seevers

Robert G. Seevers, 57, recently of St. Cloud, Fla., died February 2, 2012 at Bucyrus Community Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.

He was born in Galion on March 10, 1954 to Charles R. and Marguerite (Dabney) Seevers. Robert attended Galion High School and moved to Florida in 1998 where he was a self-employed painting contractor. He loved gardening, cooking and playing with his dog, Ella Mae.

Robert is survived by his son, Ryan Seevers of Bellville; grandchildren, Lydia M. and Courtney M. Seevers; mother, Marguerite Seevers of Bucyrus; sisters, Lana (Richard) Crissinger of Bucyrus, Paula (Robert) Faulds of Port Clinton and Sheila (Richard) Schieber of Crestline; brothers, Sid (Sue) Seevers of Bucyrus and Clinton D. (Donna) Seevers on Hendersonville, N.C. along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles R. Seevers and brothers, Jeff and Gary Seevers.

A private graveside service will be held in Fairview Cemetery in Galion. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wise Funeral Service to help defray expenses or to a charity of the donor's choice through the funeral home.
