Regina L. Snyder

Regina Lee Snyder, 71, died Monday evening, August 9, 2021 at Heartland of Bucyrus where she had resided since 2016.



She was born in Bucyrus on June 23, 1950 to the late James Sr. and Betty (Nickler) Smith. Regina was raised in Nevada, Ohio and graduated from Wynford High School in 1968. Regina met Terry Snyder after their mothers conspired at church to get them together. They were married on May 4, 1975.



Gina loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. Her Bible was precious to her and she read it hid its words in her heart daily. She worked with Terry at Snyder Electric, raised their daughters, and concluded her career with Homecare Matters before a back injury required her move to Heartland.



As Terry’s southern gospel music ministry thrived, Regina was his faithful sound tech, and they traveled many miles singing in countless churches. At home, she enjoyed planting flowers every spring and did a lot of crocheting. She advised her girls during their 4-H years and was active in the school PTO.



Regina is survived by her daughter, Holly (Ian) Cramer of Ashland; grandchildren, Emma, Lillian, Isabella, Amelia, Grant, and Olivia; siblings, Pat (Morris) Failor, Jim Jr. (Lois) Smith, and Beth England; as well as nieces, nephews, and Terry’s family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry on October 2, 2018 and daughter, Abby on June 7, 2000.



Services will be held on Monday, August 16 at Wise Funeral Service in Bucyrus. Friends may call from 1-2:55 pm and the funeral will begin at 3:00 pm with Pastor Bill Strader officiating. Burial will follow in Whetstone Cemetery.
