Priscilla Lane, 77 of Farmington, Michigan, passed peacefully Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Primrose of Findlay following several years of living with Parkinson’s Disease.
She was born July 9, 1944 in Morristown, Tenn. to the late Holland R. and Charlsie M. (Bell) Lane. Priscilla’s family moved to the area following her sixth-grade school year and she was a 1962 graduate of Bucyrus High School. She attended Tiffin University for a brief period before hiring into the accounting dept. of PPG. Following this, Priscilla was hired by Hewlett Packard and began her sales career in Cleveland before transferring to Farmington where she would retire following 30 years of employment. She was an active member at Hilltop Church of the Nazarene where she also worked as the church treasurer for several years.
Priscilla was happiest around others and was always up for planning an event. Though she called Farmington home, Priscilla loved gathering with family and friends in the Bucyrus area during holidays, where her white elephant gifts brought much laughter and good times. She enjoyed the game of golf for many years but her greatest hobby, or passion, was shopping. She was known by name at Macy’s and one could never have enough outfits to keep up with the changing times. She was always there for her friends and neighbors, and she was forever grateful for their love returned.
Along with many wonderful friends and neighbors, Priscilla is survived by siblings, Sarah Kalb and Conney Lane; nephew, Brian (Pam) Kalb and their three children, Annah, Derek and Haley and her niece, Kim (Steve) Stewart. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Carl Kalb.
Her family will receive friends from 11-12:55 pm Thursday, March 17 at Wise Funeral Service, 129 W. Warren St., Bucyrus, Ohio where her funeral will begin that day at 1:00 pm with Pastor Ben Walls and Pastor Troy Ogle officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. For those not able to attend her funeral, a livestream will be offered through her tribute page along with the opportunity to share memories and photos.
If desired, donations can be made payable to the Hilltop Church of the Nazarene and will be accepted through the funeral home.
