Pauline Risner

Pauline Risner, 85, of rural Bucyrus, died Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Heartland of Bucyrus.



She was born November 4, 1932 in Montgomery County Kentucky to the late Anderson and Thelma (Allen) Willoughby. Pauline married G.R. “Patrick” Risner in 1948 and together, they raised a family, attended many auctions over the years and earlier in their married life, operated Risner’s Gulf Station, located on North Sandusky Ave. in Bucyrus. Pauline also worked several years at North Electric before retiring.



Pauline cherished time spent with family. She also loved being outdoors and could often be found working with her flowers or tending to her Half Runner beans in her vegetable garden, which she faithfully planted every year as well as other produce. In more recent years, Pauline enjoyed playing 500 rummy with family and found relaxation in front of the TV with a cup of coffee.



She is survived by two children, Robert (Ginger) Risner of Bucyrus and Diane (George) Hessey of Crestline; four grandchildren, Ashley (Muhildeen) Masoud and their daughter, Amira; Ryan (Susan) Hessey and their three children, Colin and twins, Dylan and Caleb; Scott (Kirsten) Hessey and their two children, Elisabeth and Brooklynn and Dr. Jake (Kimber) Hessey. Pauline is also survived by six siblings.



In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Patrick and 3 siblings.



No public service will be held but if you would like to remember Pauline through a donation, they will be accepted though Wise Funeral Service and should be made payable to Humane Society Serving Crawford County.
