Patricia Ann Seibert, 73, of Bucyrus, passed peacefully Sunday, June 26, 2022 at ProMedica of Bucyrus following a brief battle with cancer.
She was born October 18, 1948 in Galion to the late Harold A. Sr. and Winifred B. (Reeder) Manring and was a 1966 graduate of Bucyrus High School. Pat worked for 30 years at Crawford County Job and Family Services and passionately cared for individuals through child support enforcement.
She will be remembered for her bright personality which always lit up the room and brought out the best in others. She was happiest chasing her grandchildren around with their sporting events and whether local or long distance, she was there to cheer them on. When not with family, she enjoyed gathering with friends for breakfast or lunch to catch up on life.
Pat lived by one of her mottos, “If you don’t have a lot of money, donate your time.” She did this by volunteering for various functions through AmVets Post 27, where she was a member, and for several years at the front desk of the Bucyrus Community Hospital. She was also an active member of TOPS.
Pat’s favorite location was at water’s edge, no matter whether a lake or an ocean, she was simply at peace watching and listening to the waves roll in.
Pat will be missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Angie Seibert; her grandchildren, Gabriella Seibert and Benjamin Seibert. She is also survived by a brother, Harold A. Manring Jr. and many nieces and nephews who she considered her own. She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Bruce Blamer.
Her family invites friends to a celebration of life gathering which will be held from 5 – 7 pm Tuesday, July 5 at the AmVets Post 27, 235 E. Galen St., Bucyrus, Ohio, where food, fellowship and stories will be shared.
If desired, donations can be made payable to either the Humane Society Serving Crawford County or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. These gifts will be accepted through Wise Funeral Service and online expressions of sympathy are encouraged to be shared on her Tribute Wall.
