Michael A. Greene

Michael Anthony Greene, 56, of Eastlake, died Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at his home following an extended illness.



He was born December 12, 1964 in Euclid to the late Willett G. and Patricia A. (Federico) Greene. Michael was a 1984 graduate of Clinton High School in Mississippi and shortly thereafter, returned to the Cleveland area, the place he always called home. He worked for a few car dealerships and enjoyed several years spent at Clay Matthews Pontiac.



Michael was rarely spotted without a smile and there was always time for a joke or a prank to be played on someone near and dear to his heart. He cherished time spent catching up with family and was always up for a day of boating on the lake. He was an avid Cleveland sports and OSU Buckeyes fan and enjoyed traveling to cheer them on to victory.



Michael is survived by daughters, Ellen and Katherine Greene both of Medina; siblings, Kim (Johnny) Tharp of Bucyrus, Bill (Tammy) Greene of Clinton Twp., Michigan and Pat (Kim) Greene of Nevada. aunts and uncles, Gene (Kathy) Federico (who Michael considered second parents), Michael Federico, Ronni Federico, Mickey Federico, John (Caroline) Greene and Tony (Myrna) Greene as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.



He was preceded in death by an aunt, Annie Federico and uncles, Butch and Gary Federico.



Though no public services will be held for Michael, donations can be made payable to the Humane Society Serving Crawford County and will be accepted through Wise Funeral Service, 129 W. Warren St. Bucyrus, Ohio 44820 who assisted with his cremation service. Memories are encouraged to be shared on his tribute page.
