Marian Semon, 77, formerly of Bucyrus, passed away early Friday, June 18, 2010 at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, OH. She was born October 30, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA to John and Ethel Ball. She was married to Michael S. Semon on July 6, 1957, who preceded her in death in November, 2001. Surviving are one daughter, Stacey S. Semon of Bucyrus/Findlay; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael J. and Tina Semon of Columbus; three grandchildren, Katie, Sarah, and Michael J. Semon of Columbus; one sister, Ethel Lewis of Annapolis, MD, and nine nieces and nephews with families. She was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Runkey and one brother, John Ball, both of Pittsburgh, PA. Mrs. Semon grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Swissvale High School. In her youth she worked at Forbes Field, former home of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Steelers. She moved to Michigan after she was married and eventually moved to Bucyrus, OH in 1969.
