Lois Ann Beard

Lois Ann Beard, 53, of Marion, Ohio died Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.



She was born May 25, 1962 in Marion, Ohio to the late Joseph and Lois Annabelle (Schulze) Beard. Lois is survived by one brother, Bill (Kathy) Allonas; two uncles, Jerry (Allison) Allonas and Mike Allonas; two aunts, Mary (Jim) Hart and Lois Schulze as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother Buddie Allonas and uncle, Richard Schulze.



Lois enjoyed Walt Disney movies and loved Tinkerbell. She spent a lot of time coloring in her pink princess room and often would be found singing and dancing. Lois’s playful sense of humor, youthful spirit, kind heart, and beautiful smile were a blessing to everyone.



She will be missed by her friends at the Residential Home Association of Marion, Inc., who cared for Lois for nearly 36 years, and by the staff and her friends at Marca, where she worked for nearly 32 years. Prior to working at Marca, Lois graduated from Marca School in 1984. Another important part of Lois’s life was The Salvation Army in Marion, Ohio, where she was a longtime member.



Friends may call from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Wise Funeral Service, 129 W. Warren St. in Bucyrus. A public graveside funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Oakwood Cemetery, 835 Kaler Ave. Bucyrus, Ohio 44820 and all attending are asked to meet at the cemetery.
