Linda Sue Whitt

Linda Sue Whitt, 70, of Bucyrus, died Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Altercare of Bucyrus.

Known as both Linda or Sue, she was born April 7, 1954 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Russell R. and Carol I. (Knieriemen) Garvin and was a graduate of Bucyrus High School.

If you ever saw Linda, she most likely was drinking some sort of soda or iced tea, as those were her beverages of choice. She loved the companionship offered by her cats, enjoyed watching movies and liked to shop for Christmas presents, often purchasing presents well in advance of the holiday season.

Sue is survived by her children, Timothy Whitt and Carolyn Clay; several grandchildren; siblings, Alan (Melinda) Garvin and Lisa Garvin; and a close cousin, John and Eve Knieriemen.

She will be privately laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery and if desired, donations can be made payable to a charity of choice. These gifts will be accepted through Wise Funeral Service and expressions of sympathy can be shared on her guestbook page at www.wisefuneral.com.
