Linda Lou Reber

Linda Lou Reber, 63 of Bucyrus, died Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Bucyrus Community Hospital surrounded by her family.

She was born October 3, 1949 in Bucyrus to the late Charles T. and Dorothy N. (Curts) Reber. Linda grew up attending school at Fairway and worked at Fairway Waycraft Industries. Following the death of her parents, Linda resided and was cared for by her sister for many years before eventually moving to Altercare of Bucyrus.

Linda enjoyed coloring, looking at bridal magazines and loved listening to music, especially Barry Manilow, although when her soaps, Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy were on, she turned her attention to the television. Linda loved parties and if it happened to be someone's birthday, she couldn't wait to sing happy birthday. Her favorite color was powder blue and flowers and family were two things that brought a smile to her face.

Linda is survived by a brother, Donald (Sue) Reber of Galion; a sister, Sharon (John) Kraft of Bucyrus; a niece and three nephews, Tammi (Bo) Hamilton of Bucyrus, John "JP" (Angi)Kraft of Galion, Brian (Tanya) Reber of Bucyrus and Nicholas Reber of Galion; grand-nieces and nephews, Rian Hamilton, Shania Clingman, Haley Clingman, Karrie Kraft and Brennen Reber.

Her family will receive friends for a gathering from 12-2 p.m. Thursday, June 6 at Wise Funeral Service. A procession will leave the funeral home for a graveside funeral which will begin at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Glory Geib officiating.
