Linda C. Prince

Linda C. Prince, 72, of Sandusky Twp., died Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at OSU James Cancer Hospital.



She was born September 4, 1947 in Galion to the late George J. and Esther B. (Bauer) Hessey. She graduated form Colonel Crawford High School in 1965 and married her soulmate, James H. Prince on October 14, 1966. They shared nearly 45 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on September 25, 2011. Linda retired from Lifetouch where she worked as a processor.



Linda’s children and granddaughters were her life. She never met a stranger and loved deeply and broadly. She enjoyed reading on her front porch and taking in the creation of God from her beloved home. Linda loved Jesus and will be missed by many dear friends who were blessed to be touched by her life.



Linda is survived by her son, Derrick J. Prince; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda Prince-Smith and Matt Smith; granddaughters, Emily and Elizabeth Prince; siblings, Laura (Frank) Bekeleski, Georgetta (Bill) Parker, George (Diane) Hessey, and Gloria (Todd) Stabler along with many nieces and nephews.



While no public services are being held, friends are encouraged to make memorial donations payable to OSUCCC-James in honor of the excellent care she received. These gifts can be sent to Wise Funeral Service, 129 W. Warren St., Bucyrus, Ohio 44820.
