Larry E. Price

Larry E. Price, 69, of Fruitland Park, Florida, died Sunday, May 30, 2010 naturally yet unexpectedly at his home. He was born July 22, 1940 in Galion, Ohio to the late Harold and Miriam (Gray) Price. Larry was a 1958 graduate of Mount Gilead High School and worked forty years in telecommunications, employed with North Electric, AT&T and Sprint before his retirement. He lived much of his life in Galion until moving to Florida in 1982 and he had lived there since. Larry was a member of the Elks Lodge in Galion. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved sports of any kind. Larry restored antique tractors; he collected guns, model cars and model tractors. He is survived by one son, Jerry Allen Price of Georgia; three granddaughters, Ashley Lester of Crestline, Ohio, Kathleen Lester of Orlando, Fl., and Paige Marie Oehrli of Crestline; one great granddaughter, Destinee Lester of Crestline; two brothers, Lanny (Linda) Price of Bentonville, Ark., and Michael (Berta) Price of Fresno, Calif.; close friends, Ray and Jan Baldwin of Bucyrus, Jerry and Sue Walters of Iberia and Van and Linda Ricks of The Villages, Florida. Larry is also survived by his neighbors who included him in activities and events. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Kay Oehrli. Friends may call from 7 '
