Keith "Max" Vermillion

Keith A. Vermillion, 59, of Bucyrus, died Thursday, December 3, 2020 at his residence following some lengthy health issues.

Keith was born on October 2, 1961 in Mansfield to Paul A. and Marilyn M. (Freel) Vermillion. His family moved to Bucyrus when he was seven and he was a 1981 graduate of Bucyrus High School, where he will be remembered as Max Vermillion by his classmates.

He enjoyed the change of scenery and was always interested as to what was out there; therefore, it’s no surprise that he traveled around calling various cities throughout the country home. He experienced life in California, Florida, North Carolina and Ohio. He cared for many properties doing landscape work and ended his work career at Westinghouse in Marion.

Keith was a patient man who enjoyed tinkering with anything, and often rebuilt things. Much of what he put together was better than the original and whether working on mowers, go-carts and classic muscle cars, Keith loved getting his hands dirty. He spent some time caring for racehorses. For relaxation, he loved socializing with others, either around a campfire or at a favorite hangout.

He is survived by his father, Paul (Christine) Vermillion; children, Eric, Amber, Jennifer, and Cory (Amber); five grandchildren; brothers, Rob, Paul, Vernon (Jenny) Vermillion and Travis Brewington; as well as two stepsisters. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Brewington and a stepsister, Michelle.

At this time there will be no public services for Keith and his family suggests donations be made payable to Wise Funeral Service to help with expenses. Memories are encouraged to be shared on his Tribute Wall.
