Karl Fredrick Schlumberger

Karl F. Schlumberger, 66, died early Monday morning, November 13, 2023 at his residence.  He had been in failing health for several months.

He was born in West Virginia on April 9, 1957 to the late Horst and Nancy (Anderson) Schlumberger.

Karl is survived by his children Hannah Schlumberger (Tyler Ambrose), Olivia Schlumberger (Romo Tabor), and Landon Schlumberger, along with their mother, Christine Schnabel. He enjoyed his three grandchildren, Andy Shaum, Aurora Ambrose, and Nova Ambrose. There is also another grandchild on the way.  He is also survived by siblings Kelly Schlumberger and Kurt Schlumberger along with close friends, Bill Dapper, Darrel Speck, Carrie Snyder, Joe Burgan, Tim Ash, Bernie from Nelly’s, Karen Myers, Rich Myers, and Michelle Morgan.

He retired from Timken after thirty plus years of service.  Karl was a veteran of the Navy and was truly a “country boy” who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching westerns. He liked eating chocolate and shooting pool.

Karl knew how to make people laugh and enjoyed being around and helping people.  He loved his grandchildren and was a wonderful father. 

Per Karl’s wishes there will not be any public services.
