Justin E. Beecham

Justin Eugene Beecham, 39, of Bucyrus, died on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at OSU East Hospital.

He was born January 14, 1985 in Bucyrus and was the son of Rex A. Beecham and Teresa L. Blankenship Beecham Parker (James). Justin attended Wynford High School where he played football and sang in the choir. He entered the work force as a teenager, working at McDonald’s and Hardee’s, where he served as a manager, before hiring in with various factories and was lastly employed at Vitro in Crestline. Throughout his work career, Justin had a positive impact on several of his coworkers and enjoyed being part of their lives.

He became friends with Linda M. McMillion when she moved here in 2012. They began dating in 2019 and, on December 18, 2020, they married. Justin was happiest around his family, and no matter what they were doing or wherever they were gathering, he loved laughing and spending quality time together.

He was baptized by his uncle, Pastor Mike McGuire and faithfully watched Pastor Ray, of Bucyrus Nazarene Church, preach services via livestream. He professed his love for Christ to anyone who would listen, and he was an avid prayer warrior for his family and friends.

Justin was a bit of a thrill seeker, and always pushed the limits when riding jet skis, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, and roller coasters. He even handled the “One Chip Challenge,” although it did take him a few days to recover.

Justin found happiness by simply being outdoors in nature and also loved socializing with friends. He must have carried a “lucky rabbit’s foot” when gambling, because it became a pretty successful hobby. When it came to flashy items and bling, the more the better and anyone could always guess when Justin was near, as you could smell that sweet fragrance of Versace Eros that he wore on the heavy side.

In addition to his wife and parents, Justin will be missed by his daughter, Jazzlyn Nichole Beecham; stepsons, Ronnie J. Brown and Ethan J. Brown; grandchildren, Alaiyah and Nova Beecham; sister, Amanda M. Beecham (Jeff) and her seven children, Naomi, Trenton, Conner, Lyndsay, Trever, Eleanor, and Evelyn; an adopted sister, Kristen; grandfather, Mark Carpenter; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was welcomed home in Heaven by many loving family members including his infant brother, Jacob Beecham; maternal grandparents, Richard Sr. and Sherry Blankenship; paternal grandparents, Marilyn Carpenter and Grady Gene Beecham; stepfather, Jack Parker; step-grandmother, Barbara Downard; and many aunts and uncles.

His family will receive friends from 2 – 5 pm on Sunday, July 14 at Wise Funeral Service, where his funeral will be held at 11:00 am Monday with Pastor Ray LaSalle officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. If desired, donations can be made payable to the Bucyrus Nazarene Church; Humane Society Serving Crawford County; or to Waycraft Industries and these gifts will be accepted through the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy are encouraged to be shared on the guestbook.
