Jeanette L. (Lower) Sullivan, 32, beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister, residing in Springfield and formerly of Bucyrus, died as a result of liver complications on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at OSU Wexner Medical Center.
She was born June 29, 1984 in Bucyrus to John and Susan (Cremeans) Lower who reside in Anderson, SC. Jeanette grew up actively involved at the Kaler Ave. Church of Christ in Christian Union and graduated from Wayside Christian High School in 2002 where she enjoyed playing basketball, volleyball and playing drums. She received her phlebotomy certificate from Marion Tech. and worked at the Smith Clinic in Marion and Quest in Columbus before her long battle with Crohn’s Disease forced her out of work.
On November 14, 2012 she married Eric W. Sullivan whom she’d been introduced to years prior and they found enjoyment by simply spending time together. Being a proud mother of three, Jeanette cherished time spent with her children. There were many tea parties and make up/dress up fashion memories created. She loved her entire family but she became a huge Minnesota Vikings fan as result of her dad’s love of the team, a bond the two held strong for many years.
Jeanette was formerly active in politics and served as a chair person for the Crawford County Republican Women during Rob Portman’s campaign and she was also a proud member of the Police Wives of Ohio. Jeanette loved her hamsters and guinea pigs over the years and she always felt happier with some jewelry on She tried to make this place a little better by lifting those up who needed it and more recently rekindled her love for Christ by attending NewSpring Church services online, which was introduced by her brother. She also enjoyed reading and making notes from her Bible and having a personal relationship with God.
In addition to her parents, John and Sue and husband Eric, Jeanette is survived by her three children, Anthony, Morgan and E.J.; her sister, Erica (Jason) DeWitt and their children, Jackson, Rowen and Finley; one brother Johnathan Lower; maternal grandparents, Victor and Marjorie Cremeans as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert and Lillian Lower and a special aunt, Lena Bobbitt.
Friends are invited to gather from 11 – 1 Wednesday, August 10 at Wise Funeral Service where her memorial service will begin that day at 1:00 p.m.
