James L. Charleston, 46, of Bucyrus, died unexpectedly at his residence Friday, July 5, 2013.
He was born February 1, 1967 in Bucyrus to the late James Earl and Patricia A. (Lynch) Charleston and was a graduate of Bucyrus High School.
Jim was a simple guy who loved spending time with his children; whether going on a camping trip, enjoying dinner and a movie or just hanging out with them, a good time was always had. His kids especially remember him for his hilarious sense of humor and always cracking a joke.
Jim was an avid Miami Dolphins fan and enjoyed collecting coins. In the past he built model cars, played his guitar and enjoyed golfing.
He is survived by his greatest joys, his children, James Earl Lee Charleston, Natosha (Chad) Keaton and Kaycee Charleston and three grandchildren, Kayleb, Brady and Maddison Keaton all of Bucyrus. Also surviving are a brother, Paul (Brenda) Charleston of Prospect and a sister, Pam Charleston of Galion.
His family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 12 noon Saturday, July 13 at Wise Funeral Service where the funeral will be held and begin that day at 12:00 noon. Jim will be cremated following the funeral.
Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
