James F. Hutchinson

James F. Hutchinson, 67, of Bucyrus and a former longtime resident of Marion, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014.

He was born February 19, 1947 in Marion to the late Lonnie and Doris (England) Hutchinson. Jim worked as a diesel mechanic at various locations and also drove truck for a number of years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on vehicles. More recently Jim liked to relax while watching one of his favorite movies, Gun Smoke, with wife Theresa and dog Valentino.

In addition to his wife Theresa (Hahn) Hutchinson, Jim is survived by his children, LaVonne Ray Hutchinson of Galion, Melissa (Michael Phaff) Gladden of Fredericktown and Samantha Ortiz of Delaware; three step-children, Danielle Hahn of Bucyrus; Carolann Kogelschatz of Port Huron, MI and Chad Hahn of Bucyrus; ten grandchildren; one sister, Carol Sue (Don) Bader of Boise, Idaho. He is preceded in death by several siblings.

Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Friday, March 21 at Wise Funeral Service, 129 W. Warren St., Bucyrus, Ohio 44820 where his funeral will be held that day beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bernie France officiating. Jim will be cremated following the service and privately buried at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
