Gertrude (Gert) M. Seele Bechtel

Gertrude (Gert) M. Seele Bechtel, 83, of Bucyrus, died Monday, November 08, 2010 at Heartland of Bucyrus. She was born April 9, 1927 in Bucyrus to the late David and LuEtter (Holland) Graham. Gert graduated from Mt. Zion High School in 1945 and that same year she married John C. Seele who preceded her in death in 1969. In 1975 she married Paul E. Bechtel who survives. In addition to her husband of 35 years, Gertrude is survived by two children, Dianne (Thomas) Lane of Galena, Ohio and John D. (Jane) Seele of Defiance, Ohio; one granddaughter, Jennifer Seele of Defiance, Ohio; one sister, Ruth Miller of Florida and three brothers, David (Kay) Graham, Charles (Joyce) Graham and Wilbur (Carol) Graham all of Bucyrus. While her children were young, she was active in the PTA, including serving as local president. Throughout her adult life she was active in the Business & Professional Womens'
