Geraldine Joan Hill

Geraldine J. Hill, 78, of Marion, died Saturday, September 03, 2016 at Marion General Hospital.



She was born September 11, 1937 in Crawford Co. to the late Russell and Mary (Bogan) Hill and was a 1955 graduate of North Robinson High School. Geraldine continued her education at Ohio State where she studied journalism. Shortly after college, she moved to Chicago where she held a secretarial position as well as worked as an editorial assistant for about ten years before returning to the area. It was at this time she married William “Bill” Osborn and following his death she worked for RHAM until retiring in 2001.



Geraldine was a member of the Marion Christian Center and the Marion Area Writers Association. She enjoyed photography and writing but her most addicting interest was Geocaching. There were countless hours and many miles traveled seeking out geocaches.



Geraldine is survived by one son, David Osborn of Marion and one sister, Charlotte (Larry) Langdon of Portola Valley, California.



A graveside funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, in Oakwood Cemetery.
