Evelyn Marie Rehm

Evelyn Marie Rehm, 89, died Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Altercare of Bucyrus.

She was born May 13, 1926 in Plymouth, Ohio to the late Clinton and Frances (Weck) Moore and was a 1944 graduate of Plymouth High School. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Bucyrus and in 1950 married Arthur “Carl” Rehm who preceded her in death in 1997 following 47 years of marriage.

She worked briefly at Timken but spent most of her life caring for her family as a homemaker. Earlier in her married life, Carl converted her to a football fan and she loved watching her Buckeyes and Browns. They traveled following his retirement and more recently, Evelyn always looked forward to dinning out with family on weekends as this brought many laughs and memories. She was a former member of both St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and the Women of the Moose in Bucyrus.

Evelyn is survived by her son James and Pam Rehm of Bucyrus; three grandchildren, Katie Rehm, Andy Rehm both of Bucyrus and Travis (Sarah) Heimert and their daughter, Ady of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn is preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Moore and Joe Moore.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 20 at Wise Funeral Service where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday. Her family will also receive friends one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
