Emma C. Mulvain

Emma C. Mulvain, 77, of Bucyrus died Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Bucyrus Community Hospital.

She was born August 5, 1933 in Bucyrus to the late Harry and Gladys (Solze) Reece. Emma graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1951 and worked at Economy Grocery until retirement. She married Darold "Dugan" Mulvain on August 30, 1965 and he preceded her in death in 1991. She enjoyed making crafts for her friends and grandchildren and spending time with her Westie, Buddy.

Emma is survived by four children, Jack (Alicia) Mulvain of Pittsburgh, Pa., Rodger (Mary) Mulvain of Canyon City, Colo., Mark (Chris) Mulvain of Columbus and Jacqueline (Robert) Bailey of Columbus; 11 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Emma is preceded in death by her son, Ronald Mulvain and brother, Jerry Reece.

Friends may call at Wise Funeral Service on Friday, April 1 from Noon-2 p.m. at which time the funeral will begin with Rev. Steven E. Voelker officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society serving Crawford County.
