Doris Russell

Doris A. Davis Russell, 62, died unexpectedly Thursday, July 9, 2015 at her residence.

She was born June 30, 1953 in Bucyrus to the late Willard H. and Hattie L. (Dunn) Davis and was a 1971 Bucyrus High School graduate. Doris worked for many years as an office manager for Urban Industries and raised her two children; always trying to put their needs first.

She lived with a variety of ailments for many years and always found peace gazing out at her flowers, spoiling her cats through the years and watching TV.  Even when not feeling the best, Doris enjoyed shopping trips with her brother Rodger. Earlier in life, she had opportunities to travel to Mexico where she took time to just soak up the sun.

Doris is survived by her two children, Stacie L. Russell and Jim “Bub” Russell, both of Dublin; two brothers, Rodger (Julie) Davis and Darrell Davis both of Bucyrus along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dixie Yetter.

There will be no public services for Doris but those wishing to do something in her memory can make donations to the Humane Society Serving Crawford County through Wise Funeral Service 129 W.
