Carri L. Payne

Carri Lynn Payne, 49, of Bucyrus, passed Sunday, September 24, 2017 at her home.



She was born to Jim and Sharon (King) Payne on June 23, 1968 in Crestline, growing up just north of Bucyrus. Carri was a 1986 graduate of Wynford High School with a dental assistant certificate from Pioneer. She worked in the dental field, doing what she loved, for many years.



Carri had a zest for life and loved being outdoors but always made sure her lipstick was just perfect. She was blessed with a loving family and her girls were her pride and joy. She had a beautiful voice, was passionate about music and enjoyed playing the piano and singing country music with her daughters.



Carri cherished time spent with her family and friends and will be remembered for her spunky spirit, her laugh and her kind heart. She always met you with a hug and her beautiful smile brightened any room.



She is survived by her mother, Sharon (King) Payne; two daughters, Shelby Payne and Alexis Payne; sister, Nikki (Chad) Weiland and their son, Taylor Weiland; one uncle, Mark Payne, as well as her mother and father-in-law, Maxine and Terry Warner.



Carri was preceded in death by her life partner, Zack Warner, her father, Jim Payne and nephew, Mason Weiland.



Her family will receive friends from 1-3 & 5-7 pm Sunday, October 1 at Wise Funeral Service, where her funeral will be held at 11:00 am Monday with longtime friend Bernie France officiating.



Donations can be made payable to either the American Cancer Society or to the Humane Society Serving Crawford County and will be accepted through the funeral home.
