She loved her family and they shared many great memories at Lake Erie, fishing, swimming and playing cards; euchre, hearts and pinochle being her favorites. More recently she found enjoyment watching the Game Show Network.
Carol was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, American Legion Post 181 Women’s Auxiliary and the Women of the Moose in Bucyrus.
She is survived by three daughters from her first marriage, Linda (Bill) Ewers of Sandusky, Connie (Dennis) Cole of Kingsway, Ohio and Teresa (Donald) Winkle of Vandalia; seven grandchildren, April (Gavin) Howe, Brandon Mikusa, Victoria Cole, Hugh (Shannah) Dobbins, Aaron (Jessica) Dobbins, Ashlee (David) Thompson, Nick (Emily) Winkle; several great grandchildren; three brothers, Lester (Jeri) Hart, Jim (Mary) Hart, both of Florida, and Melvin “Pete” (Carol) Hart of Texas along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by one grandson, Adam Mikusa.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 28 at Wise Funeral Service with Fr. John Miller officiating and her family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
