Blade T. Zornes

Blade Trenton Zornes, 15, of Bucyrus, died, Monday, March 17, 2025.

Blade was born March 8, 2010 in Galion, the son of Shumana Zornes who loved and doted on him until her passing in 2013. He was currently a ninth-grade student at Bucyrus High School, where he enjoyed being part of the Pathway Program.

When not in school, Blade could often be found researching things on the internet or gaming on his computer, and a few of his favorite video games were Five Nights at Freddies, Poppy playtime, and Minecraft. He spent many hours cleaning fossils and fishing with his grandpa and was always up for time spent playing and laughing in the swimming pool. He enjoyed listening to Here Come the Mummies, a band enjoyed by most of his family and even attended a couple of their concerts with his auntie Stephanie. Blade will always be remembered as a very loving and polite child, who did his best to do good for others.

He is survived by his maternal grandparents, Dan and Monica Zornes; his auntie, Stephanie Zornes; dog Maggie; great uncles, Matt and Jane Holt, Randy and Tammy Zornes; great aunt, Lori Zornes as well as numerous extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his mom, Shumana; maternal great grandparents, Don and Carole Holt; great uncle, Jack Zornes and numerous extended family members.

There are no services planned at this time; however, his family will announce a memorial gathering in the future.
