Beth Ann Korner

Beth A. Korner, 33, of Monnett, died naturally yet unexpectedly Sunday, June 24, 2012 at her residence.

She was born in Bucyrus on March 28, 1979, the daughter of Gary Groves of Bucyrus and Jackie (Heil) Groves of Chatfield. Beth graduated in 1997 from Wayside Christian School and attended college at Marion Tech and Ohio State.

On August 11, 2001 she married Benjamin Korner who survives. Also surviving are her two bundles of joy, Alyssa Mae and Elaina Marie Korner; brother, Jesse Groves of Orlando, Fla.; sister, Lisa and Ron Babbs of Marion and their children, Taylor, Jonathon, Matthew and Luke; grandmother, June Heil; step-mother, Darlene Groves; father and mother-in-law, Mike and Jane Korner; brother-in-law, Clay Korner all of Bucyrus, many aunts, uncles and cousins and a great number of friends.

Beth was an awesome mother and a fun, outgoing lady. She cherished her time baking with Elaina and loved shopping with Alyssa. Trips to Nana's often meant swim time for the family which Beth found relaxing. She enjoyed working at Farmers Citizens Bank where she had the opportunity to socialize with her customers as a bank teller and attending Wayside Chapel which was important to her.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 27 at Wise Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Wayside Chapel with Pastor Timothy Compton officiating and burial will follow in Campbell Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Crawford County Relay for Life or Wayside Christian School through the funeral home.
