Anita K. France, 52, of Bucyrus is rejoicing in Heaven after her homegoing Monday evening, October 15, 2012.
She was born February 22, 1960 in Portsmouth, the daughter of Dallas Clark who preceded her in death in 2009 and Thelma (Eulett) Tackett who resides in Bucyrus with her husband Everett.
Anita attended Bucyrus Schools after a family move when she was in junior high. On August 27, 1982, she married Bernie France and for the past 30 years they have been one in everything they've done and accomplished.
Anita worked at Baja, Checkmate and Geauga Plastics before receiving her CDA, with which she operated a Class A Certified Day Care out of her home for 13 years until her health no longer permitted. She and Pastor Bernie put God first. They ministered together through Prevailing Word Ministries where she served as the First Lady of the church. Anita also was instrumental in forming the church's food pantry, feeding and ministering to people in multiple communities. She and her daughter, Christina, formed Reformers Unanimous, a program to help those fighting addiction. Through RU, The Beacon House was started for women fighting addiction.
Anita was a very compassionate and caring person who always put others before herself. Secondly, behind God, was her family. She loved spending time with them during holidays and at Candlewood Lake. Anita loved baking treats with the grandkids, hanging out by a fire, swimming and fishing, riding the golf cart with the grandkids and riding motorcycles and ministering with Bernie. Family was who and what put a smile on her face. She taught her family to love one another. She and Bernie watched Everybody Loves Raymond together each evening.
In addition to her mother and husband, Anita is survived by three children, Christina Shaw and her children, Alexis, Abby and Shayla, all of Lexington; Ashley France and Dylan France, both of Bucyrus; one brother, David Bloomfield of Bucyrus and a sister, Mary (Jeff) Fletcher of Ontario.
Along with her father, Anita was preceded in death by her in-laws, Robert and Rita France.
