Bonny Lynn White, 63, of Sulphur Springs died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus where she was being cared for following a recent aneurysm.
She was born in Bucyrus on April 27, 1953 to the late Dewey and Viola (Fox) Kent, Jr. and grew up in Sulphur Springs. After graduating from Colonel Crawford High School, Bonny made her way to Florida where she met Robert E. White in Auburndale. Bob and Bonny enjoyed fishing and Harley Davidsons. They were married April 4, 1982 and moved back to Crawford County in 1983. Bob preceded her in death on January 7, 1992.
Bonny had a sweet personality and she loved doting on her son and grandson. She kept busy by crafting and keeping her house up, even wanting to clean during her recent hospitalization. She had a green thumb, tending to flower and vegetable gardens over the years, and she worked as a nurse’s aide at the former county home and in home health.
Bonny is survived by her son, Brandon White and grandson, Dean White along with a brother, Steven Kent of California.
Private goodbyes were said at Wise Funeral Service. She will be buried next to Bob in Union Cemetery, Sulphur Springs. Those wishing to remember Bonny with a memorial donation are asked to give to her grandson Dean’s savings. Checks payable to Dean White can be given at Wise Funeral Service, 129 W. Warren St. Bucyrus, Ohio 44820. Memories and photos can be shared on Bonny’s Tribute Wall.
